I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. And after you have had a chance to, make up your own mind.

Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. Thank you Gelina and ISM.

I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

This was a minor matter, but they did it very quickly and the car was ready in a couple of hours. They also did a fyull smog check, unscheduled, since the DAV's demand had just come in.

I've dealt with Giovanni Palazzo (the owner)since 1980 - mainly for tune-ups and restoration work on my Alfa Romeo - but he has done body work at one time or another on all my cars. A great guy and a well run shop that produces great results and especially exquisite paint jobs!

ISM was super helpful. I needed to service my BMW and they were great about helping out. I brought it in, they did a diagnostic told me all the issues I had, and even cleaned up a few things the dealer forgot to take care of from the last time they serviced my car. I told them about a few issues I was having and they were very informative about things that we could to do address the issue and options I had for fixing it. Great team. Dad always said I should have a 'car guy' now I do :)

I was dubious at first when I agreed to to bring the car in for the $185 dollar diagnostic fee to figure out what the problem was, but was completely pleasantly surprised when not only were they friendly and easy to deal with, but they reduced the diagnostic price when they found out it didn't require a full diagnostic. Along with that they rolled the diagnostic price in to the work in the end. Extremely pleasant experience with them and will most definitely go back with any further car problems.

Had some errors on a 2007 Audi A4 quattro. They did a whole check. also the car has been taken to them for maintenance and issues for years and it's in perfect condition.

I had my first experience with International Sport Motors this week, and they absolutely deserve 5 stars. This was a routine service for my 8 year old Volvo, plus the defroster had just started malfunctioning. I was well informed by ISM about every step in the process. A very welcome and unexpected perk was a free cab ride home after I dropped off my car on that rainy morning. I will definitely come back the next time the car is due for a servicing.

Bought a used Audi at Honda of Oakland only for it to break down a week later. Worried it might be the transmission, looked online and found only good things about ISM. Made an appt with Gelina. She kept us informed throughout the whole process. Including emails and phone calls. After a tune up and fuel pump replacement, I had my car back running great. Thanks ISM!

Carmen said this business has good people. They did very good work on her vehicle, but the oil change was expensive. Everything else was fine and they know what they are doing.
