My 2011 328i was just out of warranty and was due for an oil change and probably a brake job (car rattled when braking at high speeds), so rather than selling my liver on craigslist, I opted for a non BMW dealership. I picked ISM because they had great Yelp reviews and had a nice website, which was a nice touch. I dropped in without an appointment and Gelina was able to fit me in for the week, despite the fact that they were slammed. She was super knowledgeable, kept me informed (via and phone email) throughout the entire process, and was very transparent (and fair) about pricing. Don't get me wrong, it's still going to cost what it's going to cost, but I've never had such a detailed and thorough explanation of what was wrong and done to the car as I did with ISM (especially not at the dealership). I would also like to add that she insisted that I call BMW first before they did the brakes as she felt that this should have been completed under the warranty repairs (they just changed the brake pads)...even though I still ended up paying for the repairs, that gesture pretty much sold me on ISM. Here's what I had done: - Rear brakes - Oil change - Oil sensor replacement - Tire monitor replacement - Transmission fluid I obviously would prefer not to come back, but I'm sure my car will say otherwise ;-) 5 stars!
