I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. And after you have had a chance to, make up your own mind.

Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. Thank you Gelina and ISM.

I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

Of course they are 4.5 starts on yelp. Great company and staff. Very honest to deal with and they took the time to explain the issues I had with my car. Thank you Giovanni- I will be back!

Really great place! Reasonable, honest, high-quality work. My car breakdown in SOMA, and they were so helpful and squeezed me in that same day. Gelina, the service rep, was absolutely amazing! She explained everything that needed to be done in a way I could understand, even when I was so stressed about repairs! She was also proactive calling me, and took her time going through repairs that may be in the pipeline in the future. The repairs themselves were thorough and fast. I only gave 4 stars because I'm not sure if Gelina is there anymore, and she really made the experience worth going back to!

Repeat customer. This is my go to place for paint and body work. Always fast and friendly service and estimates that are right on the money. It's handy also that they are just a few blocks from my shop. I just pull up in front get a est and away I go. They worked with my Insurance and my Scooter was back better than New. I really appreciate the job the did detailing my Vespa.

I was looking up ISM's information to take in a car, and thought to leave a review of my experiences. In one instance, it was thousands of dollars of body repairs on a sedan. The repairs were flawless, timely and clean. They handled all the insurance work (State Farm) without any paperwork or cost issues. In another instance, it was the repair of an SUV windshield. The repairs were flawless, timely and clean. However, my car got towed while ISM had parked it outside their shop to rotate out another vehicle. It was a hassle for me to retrieve it from the impound, but ISM did much of retrieval legwork and paid the all the charges without hesitation and without me having to ask. They pass two key tests: quality of the work, and how they recover from a mistake. Service and quality level is equal to or better than MB / BMW dealerships.

Just called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist said that she'd have someone get back with me. When I asked her if it would be soon, later today, or next week, she said that she couldn't say. When I told her that I needed my car repaired rather urgently and asked her if I should call another provider she said that she wasn't sure.

These guys are great! I bought a 2005 Tbird with less than 40,000 miles on it last easter then in September needed to head to points east (Taos, St. Louis, Atlanta, Savannah, and New Orleans) and looked on Yelp for a shop to get my Tbird ready for the trip. Yes, they cost more than the guys at the service station down the street, but every penny I spent there was more than worth the peace of mind that all the moving parts were in showroom condition (picture midnight on a deserted desert road). I plan to keep going back here for all my Auto related needs.

The ISM team did a great job fixing my Ford Mustang, they perfectly matched the body color and were very professional. They also fixed sevral mechanical and electrical issues in the car, and most of all the price was fare ! I feel like driving a new car ! Thanks
