PROTECT YOUR CAR INSIDE AND OUT FOR THE SPRING

Mar 14, 2024

Spring is a wonderful time of year, but it can also be extra rough on your car. Pollen, tree sap, and other contaminants can do a number on your vehicle's exterior and even impact its performance. Here are some tips to keep your vehicle protected inside and out this spring!

Tip #1: Wash Your Car Regularly

One of the best ways to protect your car from pollen and other contaminants is to wash it regularly. Use a high-quality car wash soap and a soft sponge or wash mitt to gently remove dirt and grime. Make sure to rinse your car thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a chamois or microfiber towel.

Tip #2: Wax Your Car

Waxing your car can help protect its paint from UV rays, pollen, and other contaminants. Apply high-quality car wax to your vehicle's exterior, following the manufacturer's instructions. A good wax job can last several months, but you may need to reapply it more frequently if you live in an area with high pollution or a high pollen count.

Tip #3: Use a Car Cover

If you park your car outside, using a car cover can help protect it from pollen, tree sap, and other contaminants. A car cover also provides additional protection against UV rays, which can fade your vehicle's paint over time. Look for a cover that's specifically designed for your make and model of car.

Tip #4: Keep Your Car's Interior Clean

Contaminants can make their way into your car's interior, causing allergies and other health issues. Use a high-quality vacuum to clean your car's carpets and seats, and wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and pollen.

Tip #5: Check Your Air Filter

Your car's air filter can become clogged with dust, dirt, and other contaminants, reducing its performance and fuel efficiency. Have your air filter checked and replaced if necessary to ensure that your car's engine is running smoothly.

WORN SHOCKS AND STRUTS | International Sport Motors
14 Mar, 2024
A good suspension is essential to motor vehicle safety and performance. Shocks and struts stabilize the movements of automobiles. They give drivers greater control of steering, turning, acceleration, and braking. A worn-out suspension makes for an uncomfortable ride and poor handling, and we don't want you to have that. Even on the smoothest of roads, the car won't perform well. Like any other parts of a motor vehicle, shocks and struts need regular replacement. It is even more critical for those who drive over rough terrain. Most auto manuals come with schedules for maintenance of shocks and support, but it always helps to know the signs of wear and tear.
