5 SIGNS IT'S TIME FOR A WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Mar 14, 2024

It may be difficult to handle your car if it is out of alignment. Your safety, as well as the safety of your passengers, may be at risk. Your vehicle may become misaligned as a result of hitting a pothole, curb, or even a hard bump. Alignment problems can also be caused by high mileage, getting into accidents, or not maintaining your tires balanced correctly

Here are 5 signs that it is time for a wheel alignment.

When traveling straight ahead on the road, you detect your vehicle pulling to the left or right. If you're having trouble maintaining your car between both the lines of your driving lane because it's tugging to the left or right, it could be due to a problem with your car's alignment. You could feel everything from a little tug to a strong jerk. Tires that are under-inflated or the improper size are occasionally the source of the problem.

It's possible that you've noticed that your tires are wearing unevenly. They can also wear out faster than usual. You most likely have an alignment problem if you detect wear and tear in unexpected places of the vehicle's tire treads.

Take note of where your vehicle's steering wheel is located. Do you ever notice that the steering wheel appears crooked or off-center while driving straight ahead? If you answered yes, you may be compensating for a misaligned vehicle by navigating off-center with your steering wheel. If this happens to you, it's another clue that your wheels need to be adjusted.

When held in your hands, the steering wheel of your vehicle should always feel tight and stable. You may notice that your vehicle's steering wheel is looser than it used to be. This could indicate that your wheels are misaligned. Your car will slide off the road if you have sloppy handling, and you will have a lot of difficulties driving.

The steering wheel vibrates a lot when it's out of alignment. While traveling along the road, it might cause the entire vehicle to tremble.

If you are experiencing any of the 5 signs above, then your vehicle needs a wheel alignment. We invite you to International Sport Motors for quality wheel alignments. Please give us a call or visit soon!

WORN SHOCKS AND STRUTS | International Sport Motors
14 Mar, 2024
A good suspension is essential to motor vehicle safety and performance. Shocks and struts stabilize the movements of automobiles. They give drivers greater control of steering, turning, acceleration, and braking. A worn-out suspension makes for an uncomfortable ride and poor handling, and we don't want you to have that. Even on the smoothest of roads, the car won't perform well. Like any other parts of a motor vehicle, shocks and struts need regular replacement. It is even more critical for those who drive over rough terrain. Most auto manuals come with schedules for maintenance of shocks and support, but it always helps to know the signs of wear and tear.
