I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

Antonio and his crew are flawless. I got into a pretty damaging car accident in my Prius that included work on part of the electrical system. They returned it to me within a week and it was seriously better than new. They had even repaired some minor dents that weren't accident related. They recently checked out my car when a fuse blew, putting out both rear lights and replaced and fixed everything at no charge. Their customer service was impeccable; I was routinely updated through email and phone calls about the status of my car. I am so happy with their work and highly recommend them to anyone!

Need a windshield replaced?? This is the ONLY place you wanna go right here! Antonio answers e-mails super quick, always responsive and attentive. The work here is top notch. They use dealership parts no joke! If you are in a lease vehicle the dealership requires you to use official glass and not after market and this shop uses the GOOD dealership glass!! Can't recommend this shop enough. Just call Antonio.

I have a 2004 X5 and needed repair work on front passenger door. ISM came highly recommended and we were very pleased with the service. Antonio was very helpful and easy to work with and the car came back looking even better than before the accident. I would certainly recommend IMS to any BMW owner.

The team at International Sport Motors is amazing! I drove my 2001 Audi cross country from NY to SF and by the time I arrived it was pretty much on its last legs. For months I had no idea where to bring it for good quality service without getting ripped off, and I'm so glad I found ISM! Before discovering ISM I had been going to this other auto body shop in Hayes Valley and I had to get the same light bulb replaced three times before I realized that it wasn't that the headlight was actually failing, it was that the other shop kept putting in the wrong bulbs!Giovanni, one of the owners, knows exactly what he's doing, as does every staff member there. They're friendly, they give you various options and the best price for each, and they explain exactly what needs to be done and why. They also get the job done super quickly, which makes a huge difference.I can't recommend them any more highly.

Great service provided by this family owned shop. I am glad to share my very positive experience with the upmost of courtesy and honesty we received. We took out car in for cosmetic body shop repairs, they provided a very affordable rental car, they complete the Job as promise and kept me posted, after 2 days i even received a follow up call checking if all was satisfactory. They did great body work. I have referred many friends that have been very happy with the work on their vehicles.Thank very much you ISM.

I prefer to deal with independent auto shops and love my S4. When I find a good quality shop I stay with them... I will definitely stay with ISM -- great staff! Great work ? Fair price! Giovanni and company get my highest recommendation!

My car was parked on a slight hill facing towards Polk Street and while parked someone ran into the back of my car and drove off without leaving a note. I know I live in SF and bumping the car in front of you while parking is normal, but this person hit my car so hard it ended up on the curb and the front of my jeep hit the meter which cracked my front headlight and damaged the front bumper as well as cracking my back bumper. I was still able to drive it so I took it to International Sport Motors on 9th street, I spoke with Antonio in the office and he was so helpful and easy to work with. This all happen on a Monday and I was going out of town that Thursday until the following Tuesday and they were able to have it finished by the time I got back. My car looks amazing and it is driving better than before, Antonio and my insurance guy took care of everything not only with a super-fast turnaround but with no issue or problems. I would and will use ISM again and I highly recommend them to anyone!

The drivers side seat belt broke in my truck! Had to take it to ISM. Once again, excellent service! After they ordered the parts, they installed it so fast I was able to get back to work without being late.
