I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

I've been taking my 2018 Mini to ISM for a couple of years now. ISM is much closer and more convenient than the Mini dealer in Marin (who is great.. just far away from me). ISM is has been wonderful. They've helped me understand what is and isn't under warranty, and when it doesn't make sense for them to do the repair (like in the instance of a vehicle software update). They've explained why they recommend the repairs they do, and have explained the different ways I could approach something, as well as any choices I have in parts (like for a new battery or a windshield replacement). Every interaction, I've found them to be honest, fair and easy to communicate with. And, just as importantly, they do great job of repairs.. with a shiny, washed car at the end. Gelina runs the office and, I believe, is a big reason why the place is so wonderful. And, of course, their incredibly talented and experienced mechanics make my car run like new. If you need someone to take care of your baby, I highly recommend ISM.

I have a 2009 Audi that I dearly love and want to keep going as long as possible. I used to feel about car maintenance about like I felt about going to the dentist - you know you have to go but it doesn't mean you enjoy it. But that has all changed since I started going to ISM for all my automotive needs. Giovanni, Antonio, and Galena make me feel like they really know who I am, know about my car, and want to give me the best service possible. I know it sounds crazy but they almost treat me like family. Everything they do is explained and documented and fairly priced - I honestly don't know how it could be any better.

Tired of the cost of using my dealership and doing some research, I ended up at ISM for an oil change and overall inspection. I explained that my warranty was only good at the dealer. After they did a thorough review of my car, they told me where the issues where and to bring them to my dealer to use the warranty. I did and they were covered. Not only did ISM provide a thorough service, give me a detailed report with photos - which I then brought to my dealer, they helped me maximize my warranty and were totally kind and practical about that. I ended up saving a lot of money. Moving forward I will go to ISM for all not covered by my warranty, until it's no longer active. Gelina listened to my needs, explained everything. I would recommend giving ISM and Gelina a call.
