I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. Thank you Gelina and ISM.

I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

They're just trying to scam you like most of these repair shops out here. It is truly unfortunate that their is not one honest garage out here. These guys trying charging me 350$ for an oil change when I didn't even ask them to do in an oil change when diagnosing my car.

This is the most incompetent and dishonest repair shop I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My car was brought into International Sport Motors due to not starting and having multiple electrical fault codes. After being assured the car was completely fixed and thoroughly tested, I was given back the car running, idling unevenly. I drove 10 miles and check engine light and fault codes reappeared. After driving home and parking, of course it did not start again. I am still fighting for a refund.

Eric, We’re sorry to hear you are still having difficulty with your Mercedes. As we offered on the phone, we are more than happy to diagnose the problem and fix the car at no additional charge to you. We stand behind our work and believe both you and our shop were at somewhat of a disadvantage by the situation. The Mercedes-Benz was brought into the shop by our third party customer--the Getaround service you use to rent out your vehicle. Just to give our side of the story, the car was brought to our shop after another shop and the Mercedes-Benz dealership were unable to fix the starting problem. We replaced the dead battery, performed a full diagnostic check, replaced the faulty main relays and got the car started. We then reprogrammed the vehicle’s electrical system, cleared all the fault codes and then took the vehicle for a long test drive where the car performed well. If the car is still having starting difficulties the issue is likely being caused by a conflict between your Mercedes’ computer and the device Getaround uses to disable your vehicle to facilitate your app-based car rental arrangements. We understand there was some confusion between the car rental service (Getaround), our shop and you, the vehicle’s owner, and we’ve done everything in our power to make up for this miscommunication. Now that your money has been refunded we hope you can find someone to fix the vehicle’s starting issues. If you can’t and would like our help with the repairs, we are more than happy to fix the car and will stand behind our work as we do with all of our customers. If you’re more comfortable working with another shop, our credit card company has processed your refund and you’re free to take the vehicle to any shop you see fit. Really great place! I had my car breakdown in SOMA, and they were so helpful and squeezed me in that same day. Gelina, the service rep, was absolutely amazing! She explained everything that needed to be done, in great detail in a way I could understand, even when I was so stressed about repairs! She was also proactive calling me, and took her time going through repairs that may be in the pipeline in the future. The repairs themselves were thorough and fast. I only gave 4 stars because I'm not sure if Gelina is there anymore, and she really made the experience worth going back to!

The most amazing customer service from Alex, from the minute I came in to the minute I left. I was looked after, reassured and comforted that my car would be restored back to it's original glory. The work on the car was like nothing I have seen before, it was amazing. This place is really great, they come through on their work ethic and their attention to detail is of the highest caliber. I will be recommending all my friends and family to ISM.

Old battery, engine cover tossed into my vehicle's trunk. ITALIAN-Calabrian Owner going through business over pricing transition, utilizing latino labor. Seriously Disappointed.UGLY.

Can we speak privately? I've talked to our management and this account has no correlation with any customer in our shop or the environment of our shop. Could you be mistaken? If we did anything wrong we are happy to fix it but as of now this review seems to be intended for another shop.
