I have used this shop for the past 11 years (two Volkswagens, and one Infiniti), and not only are they the best at what they do, they are among the most honest and reliable folk out there. Any person who has dealt with Giovanni will attest to the fact. The people who have been patronizing this shop have been coming back for decades, because of their reputation. To anyone out there looking for a place that would give them solid customer service, without any of the "upsell" you are used to seeing elsewhere, talk to Giovanni. Ali said he took his vehicle to 5 other places and they were rude and they did not have time to work on his vehicle. The mechanic at this facility was nice, friendly and also knowledgeable. They work on the vehicle until it was fixed. The facility was very nice and clean and he really appreciates them only charging him for an hour when they worked on it for an hour and a half.

Excellent Customer Service. I had a very great experience with ISM. Gelina has helped me from the start. The check engine light was on and found out that the code was related to the catalytic convertor. I emailed and asked for a quote and she was able to get back to me within a day or two. I called her back and setup an appointment a week or two in advance. I dropped off my car Thursday after work and even called a cab for me to get home. They worked on it all day the next day. She called me later in the afternoon to tell me it was ready. Picked it up after work and it was cleaned up and ready to go. Gelina made the whole process as less stressful as possible. I was looking for a competent, fast and cost effective alternative to the dealer service department and I found it at ISM. I went in to the dealer to have a burned out headlight replaced and was told it would be $700. I found ISM from a referral and received prompt, friendly service that cost a third of the dealer's estimate. I dropped the car off at ISM and was told it would take about an hour and in 45 min. I had my car back. Reliable service and fair pricing was all I was looking for and I think I found it at ISM.

I really love my 2009 Audi and plan to hold on to for the indefinite future. I can always count on Giovanni to do great work on time at a fair price (I even qualify for a 10% AAA discount on labor!). In the past I've had work done at the Audi dealer but there is really no comparison in price, attention to detail, and personalized service. If a local shop run by a lovely, honest guy doesn't deserve my business, who does?

It's so nice to work with a auto service shop that communicates clearly, amicably and is knowledgable and trustworthy. I looked all over the Bay area for somewhere to entrust with my '98 Jaguar XK8. A lot of places just turned me down (the '98 Jaguars basically have a good solid Ford V-8 engine but even Ford dealerships said "no." ISM did a thorough job of diagnostics and provided excellent service at a fair price.

I've been in and out of every type of auto shop, and I can say with confidence that iSM was the best experience I've ever had with any auto shop...ever. These guys have YOUR wallet and car in mind when they do their work. They are not there to nickel and dime you, and they are EXTREAMLY transparent with the inspections and work needed. You can view your cars inspection, work, and options all through a super easy to use app. I came in for a simple brake pad replacement, but they were able to show me why it would be beneficial to change rotors too - and most importantly, they gave me no pressure on the rotors...the images and data they took of the rotors made it clear they needed a swap. I have a '98 Jaguar XK8 and I had trouble finding an independent shop that would work on it because they didn't have a way to tap into the computer diagnostics. ISM was willing and able to actually work it through 'old school.' They were courteous and communicative and provided competent and intelligent service at a fair price. I will remain grateful and loyal for as long as I own a car.

We bring our 2007 Audi A8 here for service. We were actually referred from another great repair shop for a complicated issue that they couldn't fix but knew that ISM could. We love our Audi. Every time we think that it is on it's last leg, Giovanni and Owen methodically diagnose the problems and fix the car as good as new. They are thorough, professional, upfront and honest. You can't go wrong with ISM.
